The Fargo Moorhead Science Museum is a community project gaining momentum thanks to people and partners like you who recognize the inherent value this institution will have in our community. Campaign funds will be used for building construction, exhibit fabrication and installation, and museum and programs development.

We will design and BUILD a destination science museum which celebrates the region’s leading role in STEM.

We will CREATE compelling exhibitions which are interactive, immersive, and accessible to everyone.

We will IGNITE the economy, community, and STEM workforce through hands-on programs for real-world jobs.

$70 Million Capital Campaign

This is a museum by and for the FM community and beyond. We will BUILD a museum like no other, using raised funds for construction of the building. The design and installations of permanent exhibits will CREATE a one-of-a-kind experience. Lastly, FMSM will IGNITE programs to impact our economy and education, and programming. To make it possible, we need your help.

The Future Location of the Fargo-Moorhead Science Museum

Thanks to a generous land donation from Brandt Holdings, the Fargo-Moorhead Science Museum will join Urban Plains, a mixed-use urban neighborhood on the prairie. This up-and-coming development will offer a balance of residential and retail spaces, entertainment, outdoor recreation, restaurants, and more. The future museum will be located at the intersection of Seter Pkwy and 31st Avenue South in Fargo. The 60,000 sq. ft. museum plan includes 23,000 sq. ft. of indoor exhibition space and 10,000 sq. ft. of outdoor spaces.
