Where is the museum going to be located?
The Fargo-Moorhead Science Museum will be located in the Premier Urban Plains Development. With the generous land donation from Brandt Holdings Co., the Fargo-Moorhead Science Museum will feel at home as part of the Urban Plains premier destination neighborhood, offer year-round experiences, and be a favored indoor destination during the winter months.
Capital Campaign
What is the projected opening date?
We anticipate an opening in summer 2027.
How much money has been raised so far?
Thanks to early investment from generous donors, $3.5 million has been raised to date.
How much will it cost to build?
We are focused on raising $70 million for the building, visitor experience, educational programming, and operations.
What are you currently working on?
We are currently working on building the infrastructure and operations for our capital campaign, forming our campaign committee, and outfitting our outreach van; the STEM Response Unit!
