Christina Snider

Campaign Chair

Christina is a highly certified secondary science teacher in the state of North Dakota. She worked full time at Yvonne Shaw Middle School in Sparks, NV and then Fargo North High School in Fargo, ND. While still working in education, she co-founded an e-commerce business, Sweet Carolina K, with her husband, Byron, in 2015. (Sweet Carolina K is a company that designs fashion jewelry that functions as ID badge holders.) Christina has spent the last 5 years outside of science education in her most fulfilling and challenging role-to-date — fulltime mom to her three young children. Christina has reimagined the next chapter in her life by giving her time to and serving on the board of directors for local nonprofit organizations, including The Great North Pole and Haven. The opportunity to serve on the Fargo-Moorhead Science Museum Board is the perfect “marriage” between her love of science and passion for helping build & support a nonprofit organization to make the greatest community impact.

Christina enjoys spending time with her husband of 16 years and their 3 young children. As a family, they enjoy the lake, camping adventures in their travel trailer, traveling and being outside. She enjoys fitness, staying active, volunteering, Bible Study Fellowship, spending time with friends and working to build the best Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo community possible.
