Jessie Rock

Chair of Board, Museum Founder

Jessie founded the Fargo-Moorhead Science Museum in June of 2018 and served as the chair of the board for the first three years. She also chairs the Education and Science Committee and serves on the Development Committee.

For the past thirteen years, Jessie has taught geology laboratory courses at North Dakota State University where she also curates the fossil, mineral, and rock collections, creates public displays, and coordinates community outreach events. She loves to engage in hands-on earth science activities with college students in the classroom and families at community events. She is excited to share her passion for science through interactive museum exhibits and experiences for all ages.
